We would like to introduce a case study of a certain confectionery company located in Niigata Prefecture that implemented a conveyor cleaning nozzle. At this company, cleaning was performed using a high-pressure water hand spray gun to remove soy sauce stains; however, they were unable to sufficiently remove the dirt, and the labor required for cleaning became a burden. Additionally, due to the high-pressure water, it was necessary to ensure the safety of the workers. As a solution, they adopted a dedicated rotating nozzle unit for conveyor cleaning. This made it possible to reliably clean the sauce stains, allowing the workers who were responsible for cleaning to be reassigned to other tasks, which also contributed to a reduction in labor costs. We would like to introduce a case study of a conveyor cleaning unit nozzle implemented at a certain sake brewery. At this brewery, a nozzle header with straight flow nozzles was swung to clean the mesh conveyor; however, this was insufficient, and additional cleaning was performed manually using a high-pressure handgun, which posed issues regarding the manpower required and the burden on the workers. Therefore, a rotating nozzle unit for conveyor cleaning was adopted, enabling the reliable cleaning and removal of rice grains stuck in the mesh, allowing for automatic cleaning.
